This is so weird and cool, I absolutely love the Maj7 chord progressions and the instruments you used. It all works so well.
Feels like I'm floating on a pool of jello.

GrapheneKid responds:

Thanks so much! I love the jello analogy :D

Very melancholic and pretty, I can absolutely hear this in a movie soundtrack.

Lumina33 responds:

Thanks a lot !! :D i’m happy with some of the sounds from my new instrument 🤩

Hey there, it's been a while!

This piece is lovely, so sweet and melancholic.
I never heard something like a bowed psalterion before, it's a really unique and haunting sound.

Lumina33 responds:

Thank you so much !!
I know right !! I love How it resonates :D

So sweet and soothing... love it.

SpikeVallentine responds:

Thank you! I agree, it is sweet and soothing. I thank God for all the talent He has given me.

This makes me think of Keiichi Okabe. Lovely orchestration, my friend!

SpikeVallentine responds:

Wow, I found some game titles that I didn't know existed from his name. They're RPG's so that's good! Haha. Any particular song in mind?

Powerful. You arranged and played the organ flawlessly, it really put me in a contemplative mood, like some sacred music I've heard before, it has a strong sense of reverence and awe, and a bit of fear. The vocals and lyrics brought that human warmth and comfort, and tied it with a bow.
What an experience, man.

etherealwinds responds:

Thank you so much! Really appreciate your kind words!

Your music is simply inspiring. This one especially reminds me a lot of Yoko Kanno's (one of my favorite composers) experimental style and vocals.

Troisnyx responds:

Ah, that is kind of you. đź’– Thank you.

I had Enya, Alizée and Mylène Farmer on the brain, and the voice timbre I seem to have taken is that of Alizée's in the verses and Farmer's in the choruses. I see what you mean about Yoko Kanno though, she does that plenty.

Really strong melody and counterpoint, and lovely development. It's a terribly bittersweet song for me, kinda hits hard. Lots of feeling and sensibility on this one, thank you for sharing.

God damn dude! Fantastic arrangement.

This is absolutely lovely. The first one especially is quite the sweet and emotional experience.
You really don't see a lot of folk compositions around here, great work man.

SoundChris responds:

Hey man! Glad you like it (i have to say i am really surprised that such a uncommon genre is accepted here so well).

Thanks for your kind review good sir! Btw: The accordion in there is the very same that i used for argentinean memories :)

All the best,
Chris
